'SLEEPOVER CLUB' LAUNCHED WITH FUN AND FAIRYFLOSS
The PG rated launch of the Western Australian children’s series, The Sleepover Club (series 2) was a fantastic family friendly event with stars of the series and invited guests enjoying some good party vibes as they celebrated another quality WA production.
This fast-paced, half-hour, live-action drama series for 7-12-year-olds is based on the international Harper Collins best selling books of the same name by Rose Impey and produced by Southern Star Entertainment in association with IWC Media Limited, Rialto Films, ScreenWest and Lotterywest.
The Sleepover Club revolves around the busy lives of five young teenage girls who have a secret society with rules and conventions – and no boys or parents allowed!! The series was filmed in and around Perth’s beachside suburbs and most of the cast are Perth locals.
The stars of The Sleepover Club who attended the launch were Rachel Watson (Tayla), Monique Williams (Jess), Ruby Hall (Caitlan), James Bell (Jason), Nathan Coenen (Simon) and Shannon Lively (Declan). Also attending the launch were Tourism WA CEO Richard Muirhead with his family, Department of Industry and Resources Manager Investment Attraction Geoff Collins and family and friends of the cast and crew.
Get set for adventure, humour and fantasy as the gang from The Sleepover Club return with this second series on Wednesday, August 22 at 4.00pm on Channel Nine.
